The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Party

Since the launch of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a diverse cast of personalities, and a thrilling plot showcasing divine entities, demons, and dark forces increasing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Spoilers for the third episode of this adventure lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

The latest chapter ended with a dramatic pause and presented the first table of heroes who will separate from the main group to undertake their separate journey, apart from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team includes the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis), the agile character (Laura), the fierce warrior (the cast member), the cleric (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

Considering an extensive roster, it was clear from the beginning that having everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

That’s why, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Prelude, connecting the personal journeys before branching into three smaller tables: Fighters, Strategists, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

Per the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for participants who prefer a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven narrative style where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

Initially, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might look mismatched, but the developments of the latest installment make it clear why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

To begin with, the party knows exactly where to proceed after a brutal opening clash with the enemy group.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose demise initiated the story’s plot—exploited the enemy for his selfish purposes, breaking into the hidden lair, attacking the rogue, and swiping all the powerful objects to auction.

The antagonist then cleared his obligations and escaped to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the city, with Cyd close behind.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each adventurer has a individual motive to leave the city the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as the companion and trusted friend, desires vengeance.
  • Kattigan knows the northern area and cautions that it is a nasty place.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having defied his family’s wishes to kill Teor and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • But, their reputation as important members in House Halovar could assist the party access places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character vowed a unbreakable promise to The savior for his salvation and will now follow him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are wanted by the powers that rule the setting for a range of causes, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and The healer turned against House Halovar and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This results in them little choice but to head to the northern region in pursuit of the traitor.

Future Episodes

Based on the latest episode’s Cooldown, we learn that the warrior group will be absent next week, leaving the remaining eight participants to round up the Seekers and Planners tables.

Viewers can expect discovering which adventurers will be in which group in the story’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on next week.
